Barnyard Project in Mount Hope
On this Mount Hope diary farm, a concrete barnyard and push-off structure will allow the farmer to quickly and easily collect accumulate manure and load it into his spreader. It can then be used as a natural fertilizer according to the farm's nutrient management plan. This farm project received funding assistance from New York's Agricultural Nonpoint Source Abatement and Control Program.
